A: The purpose of this project was to find the difference between a solid and a liquid. So in this project we set out to find out if oobleck was a solid, or a liquid. To help us better understand matter, we also listed the characteristics of liquids, and solids. For example, liquids spill and are sensitive to movement, while solids don't change form as easily.
B: We then used a mixture of cornstarch and water to create the substance known as oobleck. When I felt the mixture, it was a liquid when I first touched it, but then it felt rough at the bottom. And when I pulled my hand out of the mixture, it went back to looking like a liquid.
C: I believe it's neither a solid nor a liquid. I think oobleck is both a solid and a liquid if possible.
